Let’s start with expression. Artists are in the business of expressing themselves. But that’s not so unusual today. Lots of people are expressing themselves. Technology has made it incredibly easy to share our views, our work and our lives with others. Whether it’s a Facebook posting about a hamster, a tweet about the torture of a root canal, or an Instagram photo of a dinner plate, many people seem to be in the business of broadcasting their every waking minute. This proliferation can make it a bit tricky if we are trying to get a message across, find an audience, sell a solution or just be heard.
