Does she have the ability to see or know? Has she a vested interest in one judgement over another? Does she have any relevant expertise? Is she likely to be biased or neutral? Again, it would be simplistic to simply go through these – and other – criteria and decide that if a character has, for example, a vested interest then that automatically affects the credibility of their evidence.
