Carter continued to perform, playing for silent film revivals up until poor health forced his retirement in the early 1990s.

Bradbury, Sir Malcolm British author Sir Malcolm Bradbury died after a long illness in Norwich, England, on November 28, 2000. He was 68. Bradbury was born in Sheffield, England, in 1932.
